Birmingham

Birmingham is the second largest city in England. It became a busy commercial and industrial centre during the 18th and 19th centuries and it is still a powerful commercial centre today.
The centre of the city, and especially the area around the Canals' Gas Street Basin, has become a popular attraction and abounds with bars and restaurants. One of the area's major attractions is the West Midlands Safari Park.
You should also visit the Black Country Living Museum, an industrial museum with recreated buildings from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
